The IGGY MODEL was released in 1967...It was radical then, & it's radical now!! Harold Iggy was our shaper throughout the '60s & early '70s and was instrumental is all aspects of our surfboard designs. The fact that this model is named after him tells you all you need to know about how much Iggy meant to Dewey. We did not name surfboard models after individuals, PERIOD...But Iggy wasn't just anyone! He was Dewey's best friend & an integral part of the success of Dewey Weber Surfboards. His concept for this board consisted of a thin scoop nose with a turned down tail (S-Deck). The stock model is built with a 1/4" Cedar center stringer with 2 x 1/8" T-Band stringers offset from the center. This board is super unique & must be seen to be fully appreciated...Check it out now!!
